In 2012 the plantsman David Foreman gave us some of his single marked elwesi x ‘Trym’ hybrids to trial in our garden. Some years later this stunning elwesii hybrid occurred nearby.
The flowers are large and of good substance, long lasting and usually start to flower in mid February. The combination of outer marks and full green inner make for a very striking effect. A very substantial and choice snowdrop.
